The Hyde Group is hiring a Roofer to join our property services team, covering Lewisham and surrounding Bromley, Croydon, Peckham and Lambeth areas. The role focuses on scheduled roofing repairs, maintenance and installation for domestic properties, with a DBS check for successful candidates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a roofer, with a focus on planned works or project-based maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct planned inspections and assessments of roofs to identify maintenance or replacement needs.
• Carry out scheduled roofing repairs and installations, ensuring work meets industry standards.
• Replace or repair roofing materials, including tiles, slates, or flashing, as part of planned works.
• Apply weatherproofing and protective coatings to enhance roof durability.
• Maintain a safe and controlled working environment, adhering to safety procedures.
• Manage roofing materials, tools, and equipment for planned projects.
• Collaborate with the wider maintenance team to ensure smooth delivery of planned works.

• Proficiency in the safe use of roofing tools and equipment.
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Valid driving licence and a customer‑focused approach.
