Metropolitan Thames Valley is seeking a Roofer for our East Midlands region. The role involves hands-on roofing work within social housing settings, with a 40-hour week from 8am to 6pm.

You will tile, repair gutters, flashing, and flat roof patches, maintaining high safety standards. A UK driving licence and experience in relevant environments are essential, with benefits including pension, health plan, and generous annual leave.

Title: Roofer

Location: East Midlands

Salary: £31,270 - £32,916

Working hours/pattern: 40 hours per week between 8am - 6pm.

Requirements

Experience

• Previously worked in a social housing or local authority environment
• Relevant NVQ2 qualification or equivalent trade experience
• Duties to include things such as (but not limited to) replacing slipped or missing roof tiles, clearing and repairing blocked or leaking gutters and downpipes, fixing flashing around chimney stacks, and patching leaks on flat roofs over extensions or balconies

Driving

• A full UK manual driving licence (you will provided with your own Metworks van and fuel card for working hours).
• A minimum of one year of significant driving experience. (MTVH reserves the right to withdraw an offer of employment if company fleet policy is unable to secure adequate insurance.)
