Job summary

On Track Group Ltd is seeking experienced HVAC Technicians in South Wales/Cardiff to install, service and maintain heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems across diverse sites.

Candidates should have strong diagnostic skills, knowledge of HVAC components, and preferably NVQ/City & Guilds/F-Gas qualifications. A full UK driving licence is preferred, with opportunities for overtime and a professional working environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as HVAC Technician or similar role
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, controls and components
• NVQ, City & Guilds, F-Gas or equivalent preferred
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Full UK driving licence preferred

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain HVAC systems across sites
• Diagnose faults and repair mechanical and electrical components
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Ensure systems meet compliance standards and operate efficiently
• Complete service reports and maintain maintenance records
• Adhere to health and safety regulations
• Provide training to other staff as required

Job Type: HVAC Technician (x2)

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are currently recruiting for experienced and motivated HVAC Technicians to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across a variety of sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, service, and maintain HVAC systems including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on mechanical and electrical components
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Ensure all systems operate efficiently and meet compliance standards
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate maintenance records
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations
• Carry out job training to other members of staff

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience working as an HVAC Technician or in a similar role
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and components
• Relevant industry qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, F-Gas certification, or equivalent preferred)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)
