Job summary

COREcruitment is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to support a major national retail client across the Oxford to Coventry corridor. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on HVAC and gas-fired systems across multiple sites, with daily travel between locations.

A full UK driving licence is essential, and you will operate in a field-based capacity, ensuring safe, compliant environments and timely service delivery.

Qualifications

• Recognised Commercial Gas qualifications – minimum of 4 from: COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, ICPN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CDGA1, CCP1.
• F-Gas (2079) certified.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel daily across the patch.
• Proven experience working on HVAC/gas systems in a multi-site environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM schedules and complete all paperwork to procedure.
• Respond to helpdesk call-outs, diagnose faults, and complete repairs within agreed SLAs.
• Service and maintain HVAC assets including AHUs, gas-fired heating, LPHW, DX coils; heat pumps; boilers, pumps, inverters, DHW boilers, and water chillers.
• Identify non-repairable plant faults and recommend replacements to the Line Manager.
• Work in line with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies at all times.

About the Role

This is a field-based role with daily travel between sites. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM schedules and complete all associated paperwork to procedure
• Respond promptly to helpdesk call-outs, diagnose faults, and complete repairs within agreed SLAs
• Service and maintain HVAC assets including:
  • Air handling units (gas-fired heating, LPHW, DX coils)
  • Heat pump systems and single split air conditioning
  • LPHW boilers, pumps, inverters, DHW boilers, and water chillers
• Identify non-repairable plant faults and recommend replacements to the Line Manager
• Work in line with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies at all times

Essential Skills & Qualifications
