Job summary

You will work rotating shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with emphasis on safety, quality and efficient processes. Candidates should have proven mill-setting experience and a proactive approach to solving routine

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Mill Setter, Rolling Mill Setter or Roll Forming Setter/Operator.
• Experience setting up and adjusting manufacturing machinery.
• A good understanding of production processes and quality standards.
• The ability to identify faults and resolve routine production issues.
• A strong commitment to health and safety.
• Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate rolling mill and roll-forming machinery.
• Ensure machinery is correctly configured to meet production requirements.
• Monitor production output and maintain consistent product quality.
• Carry out routine machine checks and adjustments.
• Identify and report machine faults, production issues and quality defects.
• Perform product inspections to ensure components meet the required specifications.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Support production targets and minimise downtime, scrap and rework.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to improve production efficiency.
