Job summary

Barrington James Drug Discovery & Preclinical is seeking an Animal Technician to join a busy animal facility. You will support the day-to-day running, maintaining high welfare standards, husbandry and clean conditions, drawing on a background in rodent husbandry within a BSU.

The role involves working closely with the research team to ensure smooth facility operation. Applicants with PIL are preferred, but those without will also be considered; reliability, organisation and strong attention to

Qualifications

• Experience working with laboratory rodents within a BSU.
• Strong understanding of animal husbandry and welfare.
• Experience in regulated laboratory or research environment.
• PIL advantageous, but not required.
• Reliable, organised and capable of working as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and following procedures.

Responsibilities
