Job summary

Controls Engineering Solutions Ltd in Peterborough is seeking a Process Automation Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain PLC-based systems, with a strong focus on Rockwell Allen-Bradley platforms. Working closely with project engineers, design teams and clients, the postholder will take projects from requirements through to testing, commissioning and handover.

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of experience with Rockwell Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLC programming.
Minimum 4 years of experience with Rockwell Allen-Bradley FactoryTalk View SE (SCADA/HMI).
Proven project background covering design, testing and commissioning of control systems.

Responsibilities

Develop PLC and SCADA software on Rockwell AB ControlLogix and FactoryTalk View SE.
Design and implement control logic for process automation systems with instrumentation.
Deliver project tasks on time and to a high standard, and produce technical docs.
Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues and support project teams.
