Sapien in the United Kingdom is seeking a Principal Process Automation Software Engineer on a contract basis to support design engineering activities and project delivery.

The role focuses on delivering PLC and SCADA software solutions, aligning with URS requirements, and guiding projects from quotation through to commissioning. A strong background in Rockwell controls and ISO-compliant environments is essential.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree or apprenticeship required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• 10+ years' experience with Rockwell ControlLogix.
• 10+ years' experience with Rockwell FactoryTalk View SE.
• Experience in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and ISO 45001 environments.

Responsabilités

• Comply with QHSE regulations, policies and standards.
• Deliver design and engineering tasks for projects from quotation to commissioning.
• Ensure designs comply with regulations and customer specifications.
• Develop PLC and SCADA software applications.
• Test and commission project deliverables.
• Provide ongoing project and engineering support.
