Job summary

Rocksteady Music School in the UK is seeking a Band Leader to teach primary pupils in a lively rock and pop group format across multiple schools. You will guide children through their first instruments—from drums to vocals—while traveling between locations with support from a large team.

No teaching experience is required as comprehensive training and development are provided, and a UK/EU driving licence with your own transport is essential for moving between sites.

Qualifications

• No prior teaching experience required; full training, support and development provided.
• A UK/EU driving licence and own transport are essential for transporting equipment between schools.
• Ability to teach rock/pop music in a band setting across multiple schools.

Responsibilities

• Teach primary-age groups in a fun rock/pop band format across up to 10 schools per week.
• Teach drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals to children for their first instrument lessons.
• Work independently as part of a remote band leaders team with central support.
• Help children take part in live end-of-term performances and develop confidence through music.
