Job summary

SoCode Limited invites a Test Development Engineer to join on a contract basis (Outside IR35) in Cambridge. The role focuses on building robust test methodologies for their product range and defining test strategies, with responsibilities spanning fixtures, automated test solutions and multi-disciplinary collaboration.

You will design, validate and deliver automated manufacturing test solutions, support production assembly and integration, and troubleshoot complex issues across test platforms,

Qualifications

• Experience designing, validating and delivering test systems.
• Good understanding of electrical/electronic measurement and test equipment.
• Experience across concept, design, validation, delivery and support.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document and deliver automated manufacturing test solutions.
• Support manufacture, assembly, integration, commissioning and validation of test systems.
• Evaluate, debug and optimise equipment hardware and subsystems for testing.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver test system designs.
• Produce clear technical documentation for test system design and operation.
• Investigate production test equipment issues and support improvements.
• Provide on-site support for test solutions deployed at contract sites.
• Represent department on test equipment development matters.
