Job summary

Circle Health Group's Clementine Churchill Hospital in Harrow is seeking a Surgical Care Practitioner to join the theatres team on a bank basis, covering busy periods and annual leave.

The role focuses on assisting robotic surgery across urology, gynaecology, general, colorectal and thoracic procedures; requires NMC/HCPC registration and theatre experience. Salary is up to £45 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in theatre environment and assisting with surgical procedures.
• Proven capability in robotic surgery across multiple specialities.
• CPD activity and engagement in surgical education or research.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical interventions under supervision of the operating surgeon.
• Perform tissue retraction, suctioning, irrigation, haemostasis, and wound closure where competent.
• Make clinical decisions in line with national guidance and delegation agreements.
• Complete operative records accurately for the surgeon.
• Assist in collecting post-operative outcome data and audits.
