Job summary

The Clementine Churchill Hospital in Harrow, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Theatre Practitioner to join the Theatre team on a bank basis. You will supplement staffing during busy periods and cover for annual leave or absence.

Role responsibilities include assisting the surgical team, maintaining sterility, and supporting postoperative care while adhering to infection control and safety policies. NHS registration or HCPC is required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (NMC) or ODP with theatre experience.
• Understanding of infection prevention and patient safety.
• Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic theatre setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare instruments and maintain sterility; support surgeon needs and equipment safety.
• Assist anaesthetist with equipment prep, monitoring, airway management, and positioning.
• Provide post-operative care and discharge readiness; monitor vitals and manage pain.
