Intuitive Surgical is seeking a Field Service Engineer to manage Customer Technical Relations after the point of Sale for all Intuitive Surgical products in an assigned UK territory. The role requires independent work, escalation management, and aligning expectations with customers and internal teams.

Candidates should have 5–10 years of Field Service experience in the medical device industry, with strong communication and OR protocol knowledge. Travel up to 80% is expected. Shift: Day.

Qualifikationen

• 5-10 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer, including experience in the medical device industry.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong administrative and record keeping skills.
• Strong knowledge of Operating Room protocol.
• Track record of solid customer relationships with Surgeons and Hospital staff.
• Proven track record in providing training support.
• Proven ability to independently troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems.
• An ability to travel up to 80%

Aufgaben

• Senior da Vinci Surgical technical expert across all system platforms.
• Analyze customer requirements for effective system installation.
• Schedule and manage planned and unplanned customer visits for maximum uptime.
• Identify and address product or process enhancements based on customer feedback.
• Provide on-site technical and training support to junior staff.
• Engage in service contract renewal discussions with hospitals.
• Assess training needs for OR environments and provide training.
• Manage administrative duties including spare parts, RMAs, calibrations, and data entry.
• Support Sales and Marketing events by analyzing issues and developing solutions.
