Job summary

Medtronic in the United Kingdom is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customers primarily in London and the surrounding area, with occasional travel across the UK and Ireland. You will travel at short notice to service robotic systems and deliver high levels of field service and customer support.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent in electronic/electro-mechanical engineering.
• Experience in medical equipment or healthcare field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
• Customer-focused with ability to build relationships.
• Commercial acumen and revenue growth awareness.
• Able to troubleshoot and diagnose medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide field service and customer support across robotic products.
• Schedule preventive maintenance visits and support revenue growth through renewals.
• Meet service performance metrics and improve customer loyalty.
• Identify and pursue revenue opportunities with customers.
• Collaborate with EBME and clinical engineering leaders.
• Comply with QA procedures and operational guidelines.
