Job summary

Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust in Guildford invites applications for a Clinical Fellow in Robotic Oesophago-Gastric (OG) Surgery. This 12-month fixed-term post commences in April 2027.

The role focuses on robotic OG cancer, complex benign and emergency OG surgery, with a dedicated three-session robotic list weekly. The successful candidate will be involved in MDT meetings, clinics, endoscopy, theatre sessions, audits, and research.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration is required.
• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MRS or equivalent certification.
• ALTS and BSc or equivalent are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day inpatient care and attend outpatient clinics.
• Participate in robotic oesophago-gastric cancer surgery training and lists.
• Engage in audits, research and teaching for students.
• Contribute to on-call rota for surgical emergencies.
