Job summary

Tayside Contracts in Scotland seeks a Roadworker 5 to undertake maintenance and construction of roads, drains and street lighting. You will work in a three+ person team led by a Chargehand, or as part of a two-person team where you are the lead, or as an experienced individual on a specialist task.

You must have a flexible attitude, be health and safety aware, and communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisory staff and client representatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in the construction industry.
• Ability to work to precise levels and requirements of construction work.
• Willingness to participate in a standby rota and to work outdoors in all weather.
• Category C Driving Licence essential; Category C+E desirable.
• Driver CPC for HGV Licence and CSCS Health and Safety card preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and construct roads, drains and street lighting.
• Work as part of a 3+ member team led by a Chargehand, or as a two-person team where the Roadworker 5 is the lead, or as an experienced individual on a specific field.
