Job summary

Tayside Contracts is seeking a Roadworker 5 in Scotland to undertake maintenance and construction of roads, drains and street lighting. You may work in a team of three or more led by a Chargehand, or as part of a two-person team where you are the responsible individual, or independently in a specialised field.

You must be flexible, health and safety aware, and able to communicate with colleagues and client representatives. Standby duties and outdoor work in all weather are required.

Qualifications

• Health and safety awareness is essential.
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and client representatives.
• Flexible attitude to work and outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and construct roads, drains and street lighting.
• Work in a construction team of 3+ led by a Chargehand; or in a two-person team where the Roadworker 5 is the responsible individual.
• Work as an experienced individual when required.
