Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician in the Walsall cluster. You’ll perform diagnostics and roadside repairs, starting and finishing at home with a RAC van and full kit. Expect 40-hour weeks with demand-led shifts and optional overtime.

Requirements: LV Maintenance LV2 or 5+ years as a Technician, a full UK licence with <6 points. You’ll help get members back on the road and enjoy comprehensive benefits and a strong base salary with realistic OTE.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish each day from home and manage local calls.
