Job summary

National Highways is looking for a Service Delivery Manager to oversee roadside technology maintenance and repair across the North West region. The role focuses on delivering high-quality works on time and in accordance with safety standards, with strong customer service orientation.

You will manage supplier performance, plan and track works, and engage with customers and stakeholders while ensuring budgets and programme alignment. A full clean driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Academic qualification in highway engineering.
• Experience in highway asset maintenance decision making.
• Strong customer and stakeholder liaison skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage supplier performance to SLAs and safety standards.
• Track and monitor performance across routes; identify risks.
• Maintain cyclical and reactive maintenance plans and approve spend.
• Ensure plans are integrated to minimise customer disruption.
• Manage customer engagement and communications with contractors.
