Job summary

RAC is recruiting a Nights Roadside Technician for the Bournemouth area, with the role covering Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Wimborne, Ringwood, and surrounding locations. You will diagnose faults, repair vehicles roadside, and assist members to get back on the road.

Expect a market base salary plus OTE, with a focus on night shifts and local travel from home. RAC provides a van, tools, and full uniform, plus ongoing development and accreditation opportunities.

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) required.
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic required.

You’ll be part of the Bournemouth cluster, covering areas like Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Wimborne, Ringwood, Wareham, Swanage. We organise work locally so you can start and finish at home, focusing your day on getting members back on the road in your local area.

What you’ll need

Either:

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience

or

• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic

and

• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
