Job summary

RAC is expanding its Roadside Technician team across the Bournemouth cluster to serve members in Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Wimborne, Ringwood, and surrounding areas. You will be at the frontline, diagnosing faults and performing roadside repairs to get members back on the road quickly.

You’ll begin and finish at home, working locally with your RAC van, fuel card, and full set of tools. A competitive base salary of £42,921.87 plus realistic OTE (£60k+) makes this a rewarding, fast-paced

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• Or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end your day at home, with RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools and diagnostics kit supplied.

Where you’ll work

You’ll be part of the Bournemouth cluster, covering areas like Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Wimborne, Ringwood, Wareham, Swanage. We organise work locally so you can start and finish at home, focusing your day on getting members back on the road in your local area.

What you’ll need

Either:NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experienceor5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/MechanicandA full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
