Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Roadside Technician (field-based) to provide roadside assistance for a national breakdown company with over 15 million members. The role offers a great salary, overtime and bonus opportunities, with shifts arranged across the week.

Must have the right to work in the UK and a valid UK driving licence. OTE exceeds £60,000 with potential to reach £70k–£80k+. Training and progression opportunities are included.

Competenze

• Must have Level 2 or Level 3 light vehicle maintenance and repair qualifications.
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification hands-on experience with vehicles.
• Must have a full UK driving licence - max 6 points.
• Customer-focused approach.

Mansioni

• Attend roadside breakdowns and assess vehicle faults quickly and accurately.
• Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs at the roadside, including battery replacements, wheel changes, and minor engine fixes.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and determine repair options.
• Provide temporary solutions when full repair isn’t possible, ensuring member mobility.
• Advise members clearly on next steps, including recovery if needed.
• Work safely and efficiently in varied environments and conditions.
