Job summary

Roadside Technician role based in Wembley with a national breakdown company. Base salary £34,600 plus OTE up to £61,000, with overtime and bonus opportunities. 40 hours/week, start/finish from home before van deployment, permanent full-time role.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification hands-on experience with vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Customer-focused approach with good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile environment.

Responsibilities

• Attend roadside breakdowns and emergency callouts.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle faults quickly and accurately.
• Carry out roadside repairs, including batteries and tyres.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and determine repair options.
• Provide safe and efficient roadside assistance to customers.
• Communicate clearly with customers and provide reassurance during breakdown situations.

Shift and schedule for the Roadside Technician roleAverage 40 hours per week. Optional overtime is available to increase earnings. All hours start and stop from home, as soon as you start the van.
