Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. is seeking a Roadside Technician to provide field-based roadside assistance across the region, starting from Slough. The role offers a strong base salary with overtime and bonus opportunities, plus a company van, fuel card, tools and diagnostic equipment.

You will attend breakdowns, diagnose faults quickly, and perform roadside repairs while ensuring customer safety and clear communication. Requires mobility, independence, and a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification hands‑on experience with vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• A customer-focused approach with good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile environment.
• Must have a Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Attend roadside breakdowns and emergency callouts.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle faults quickly and accurately.
• Carry out roadside repairs, including batteries and tyres.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and determine repair options.
• Provide safe and efficient roadside assistance to customers.
• Communicate clearly with customers and provide reassurance during breakdown situations.

Roadside Technician (Field based) providing roadside assistance for a national breakdown company with over 15 million members. Great salary, benefits, overtime and bonus opportunities.

Location: Slough

Pay / salary: Basic: £41,600 (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance, if applicable) | OTE: Up to £65,000

Job type: Permanent / Full time role

Shift and schedule for the Roadside Technician role average 40 hours per week. Optional overtime is available to increase earnings. All hours start and stop from home, as soon as you start the van.
