Job summary

The AA is seeking a Roadside Rescue Patrol in London South West. You will start and finish from your driveway, traveling to diverse locations in a 40‑hour week with flexible shift patterns.

You’ll be the friendly face helping members get back on the road, using your technical know‑how and calm approach in any weather. Essential are NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and a full UK driving licence with ≤6 points.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualifications with experience
• Full category B driving licence with 6 points or less
• Confidence using and adapting to new vehicle tech and tools
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays

Responsibilities

• Starting and finishing on your driveway paid from the moment you get in your van to the moment you get home
• Work independently across varied locations while staying a valued team member
• Use your technical knowledge and clear communication to ensure a positive customer experience
• Solve problems on the spot and handle a wide range of roadside situations
