Job summary

The AA is seeking a Field Worker to join its Roadside Rescue team. You will start and finish from your van, working across varied locations to assist members and restore their journeys.

You’ll apply technical knowledge and calm communication to deliver a positive customer experience in all weather conditions. Essentially, you’ll hold a NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent), a full UK driving licence with up to 6 points, and demonstrate flexibility for shifts including evenings,

Qualifications

• NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualifications with appropriate experience.
• Full category B driving licence, with 6 points or less.
• Confidence using and adapting to new technology we’ll provide the tools, you bring the curiosity.
• Flexibility to work shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays because breakdowns don’t stick to a schedule.

Responsibilities

• Starting and finishing on your driveway paid from the moment you get in your van to the moment you get home.
• Working independently across varied locations and conditions, while remaining a valued part of a supportive team.
• Using your technical knowledge and clear communication to help ensure a positive customer experience.
