Job summary

The AA is seeking a Roadside Rescue Mechanic to join its team in the UK. You’ll work across varied locations with flexible shift patterns, paid from driveway start to home, and you’ll be the friendly face of the UK’s largest motoring organisation.

You’ll use your technical knowledge to resolve roadside issues and deliver a positive customer experience, operating in all weather and conditions. A full driving licence and NVQ3 in vehicle maintenance are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualifications with appropriate experience.
• Full category B driving licence, with 6 points or less.

Responsibilities

• Starting and finishing on your driveway paid from the moment you get in your van to the moment you get home.
• Working independently across varied locations and conditions, while remaining a valued part of a supportive team.
• Using your technical knowledge and clear communication to help ensure a positive customer experience.
• Solving problems on the spot, using your technical skills and calm approach to handle a wide range of roadside situations.
