Job summary

GEODIS UK is seeking an experienced Road Freight Pricing Manager to drive pricing requests, tender support, and carrier negotiations. You will work closely with UK and global Commercial teams to optimise road-based offerings and ensure competitive quotes.

The role requires strong numeracy, CRM proficiency, and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in freight forwarding and a solid track record in pricing strategy within a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

5+ years experience in Freight Forwarding or logistics
Strong knowledge of Business Development and pricing processes
Excellent numeracy and analytical skills
Good communication and negotiation abilities
Proficient in using multiple platforms and CRM tools
Customer-focused mindset with entrepreneurial drive

Responsibilities

Day-to-day management of Road Freight pricing requests from UK and global Commercial teams.
Supervise training of department staff across Road activities.
Define a portfolio of preferred Hauliers with specified rates and offers.
Support Tender documents with stakeholders in Group and UK to optimise commercial offers.
Analyze Road quotes and tenders to support key commercial decisions.
Proactively engage with upcoming UK/group tenders with BD/Product teams.
Raise quotes in Geobid or ENQ, and contact carriers for rates and information.
Maintain internal pricing reference website and rates in collaboration with Product Heads for Ocean & Air.
Profile and onboard new customers.
