Job summary

Right Now Group is seeking an experienced Senior Pricing Executive to lead the pricing function within a busy freight forwarding operation in the UK. You will oversee a small pricing team, coordinate workloads and ensure quotations are competitive and profitable.

You will work closely with Sales, Operations and international partners to secure rates, manage tenders and drive profitability across Air, Sea, Road and Courier/Express services.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding or logistics pricing roles.
• Understanding international freight forwarding and multiple transport modes.
• Experience supervising or mentoring team members.
• Multi-modal pricing experience is advantageous.
• Strong commercial awareness with focus on margins.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day pricing function and ensure enquiries and quotations meet deadlines.
• Lead and develop a two-person Pricing Executives team.
• Monitor performance against targets and KPIs; identify improvements.
• Review quotations for accuracy and commercial fit.
• Source and negotiate competitive buying rates with airlines, shipping lines and hauliers.
• Prepare accurate quotations considering freight, surcharges and costs.
• Calculate selling rates balancing price and profitability.
• Support Sales with tenders and new business opportunities.
• Maintain pricing records and supplier rate sheets.
• Collaborate with Operations on routings and achievable costs.
