Transcomm Recruitment seeks a Road Freight Operations Manager to lead a team of road freight clerks in West London, optimise operations, and drive commercial performance across UK and European corridors.

You will manage end-to-end road freight activities, ensure regulatory compliance, monitor KPIs, and develop client relationships while contributing to pricing and margin optimisation. The role also involves training and motivating staff to achieve growth.

Qualifications

• Road freight operations management experience required.
• Must have managed, trained and motivated a road freight team.
• Experience with pricing and margin optimisation, strong commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end road freight operations including import/export and various load types.
• Ensure compliance with UK and international road transport regulations.
• Monitor KPIs to improve service quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Lead problem-solving to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
