European Operations Coordinator

Up to £33,000

Monday – Friday 08:00am – 17:30pm

If you have freight forwarding experience in European Road Freight and you’re seeking a role with an established freight forwarding company who have been operating for over 70+ years and deal with a wide range of industry sectors, this job may be for you! The company has 8 sites in the UK and is showing continued growth.

Main Duties:

• Maintain and build relationships with clients’ businesses.
• Develop reliable and cost-effective European services with suppliers and administer job cards and booking confirmations when required.
• Create freight quotations for import and export shipments.
• Raise all operational documentation including customs clearance formalities.
• Ensure completion of consignments by monitoring from collection to delivery.
• Maintain job files and invoicing.

Requirements:

• Must have 3 years of freight forwarding experience.
• Knowledge of customs clearance requirements – post Brexit.
• Successful history of building customer and supplier relationships.
• Good level of communication and negotiating skills.
