About The Role

We are seeking a Training Operations Coordinator to support operations within the Nature Masterclasses training team. You will lead administrative support and project management for online training, in-person workshops, and webinars for researchers worldwide. You will coordinate events, liaise with trainers and stakeholders, and ensure seamless execution of training activities.

Role Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with global Training Operations Coordinators and the Events & Operations Manager to execute training events, online and in-person, maintaining high standards.
  2. Communicate regularly with international sales teams and project managers.
  3. Support and onboard editors from Nature journals for training sessions.
  4. Schedule trainers for workshops and webinars.
  5. Oversee planning, materials, and facilitation of workshops, aligning with client needs.
  6. Arrange international travel and manage logistics.
  7. Organize project meetings and lead at least two per project.
  8. Facilitate webinars and workshops, with travel as needed.
  9. Collect and analyze participant feedback, and prepare reports for training improvement.
  10. Handle administrative tasks related to webinars and workshops.
  11. Serve as the first point of contact for training inquiries.

  • Proven experience meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Interpersonal skills to build stakeholder relationships.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel 1-2 times per year if required.

Desirable

  • Understanding of scientific publishing and researcher needs.
  • Undergraduate degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Proactive approach to tasks.
