Job summary

WR Logistics in Warrington is recruiting an experienced Freight Forwarder to own end-to-end road-freight shipments across domestic, import, export and European cross-trade. You will coordinate daily operations, liaise with customers and partners, and manage UK import customs clearances with urgency and accuracy.

The role requires strong communication, independence, and a proactive approach, with a permanent, office-based position and a competitive salary package.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' European road-freight experience.
• Experience in a freight-forwarding environment.
• Knowledge of UK and EU customs procedures.
• Experience managing European cross-trade movements.
• Familiarity with ADR shipments.

European Road Freight Forwarder

Warrington | £35,000 to £37,000 | Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

An established international logistics provider is looking for an experienced Freight Forwarder to join its Warrington road-freight team.

This is an opportunity to join a stable, well-supported operation with a strong European network and a varied customer base. You will manage shipments from start to finish, giving you genuine ownership rather than handling only one part of the forwarding process.

The role

• Manage domestic, import, export and European cross-trade shipments
• Coordinate day-to-day road-freight operations
• Arrange UK import customs clearances and export documentation
• Prepare competitive pricing for customers
• Provide a responsive, professional service to clients
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and overseas partners
• Manage activity through customer and supplier portals

What we are looking for

• Previous experience in a freight-forwarding environment
