Job summary

White Recruitment in Warrington is seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder to join its road-freight team. You will manage domestic, import, export and European cross-trade shipments from start to finish, owning the forwarding process end-to-end.

The role requires five years of European road-freight experience, knowledge of UK/EU customs procedures, ADR familiarity, and strong customer-service skills. This is a permanent, office-based position with Monday–Friday hours and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

Salary: GBP32000 - GBP37000 per annum

Warrington | £35,000 to £37,000 | Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

An established international logistics provider is looking for an experienced Freight Forwarder to join its Warrington road-freight team.

This is an opportunity to join a stable, well-supported operation with a strong European network and a varied customer base. You will manage shipments from start to finish, giving you genuine ownership rather than handling only one part of the forwarding process.

The role

Manage domestic, import, export and European cross-trade shipments

Arrange UK import customs clearances and export documentation

Prepare competitive pricing for customers

Provide a responsive, professional service to clients

Liaise with customers, suppliers and overseas partners

Manage activity through customer and supplier portals

Handle shipments involving ADR goods

What we are looking for

A minimum of five years’ European road-freight experience

Previous experience in a freight-forwarding environment

Knowledge of UK and EU customs procedures

Experience managing European cross-trade movements

Familiarity with ADR shipments

Strong communication and customer-service skills

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

A self-motivated and organised approach

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

What is on offer

Salary of £30,000 to £35,000, depending on experience

Monday-to-Friday working, 9am to 5pm

21 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays
