Job summary
Exemplar Health Care is seeking a Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) for Hylton Grange in Sunderland. The role focuses on adults with complex and high acuity needs, supported by a strong, collaborative team and ongoing training and career development paths.
You will deliver holistic nursing care, assess and plan care, administer medications, and promote independence. A first-level NMC PIN is required.
Qualifications
- First-level nursing registration with NMC PIN.
- Ability to provide holistic, person-centred nursing care.
- Experience with adults with complex and high-acuity needs.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, planning and implementing care for the people we support.
- Providing person-centred and evidence-based nursing care.
- Developing collaborative needs-based care plans through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
- Safe administration of medication.
- Promoting health and wellbeing.
- Being the Nurse in Charge of a small unit on shift.
- Managing challenging behaviours while maintaining safety.
