Job summary

Exemplar Health Care in Sunderland is seeking a Registered Nurse (RGN) to join our Hylton Grange care home. You’ll work flexibly across days and nights, delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care for adults with complex needs.

We offer strong training, career development and a supportive team. A first-level NMC PIN is required, with opportunities to lead on shift and contribute to ongoing rehabilitation and daily living skills for residents.

Qualifications

• First-level nursing registration with NMC PIN is required.
• Nurse qualification with ability to provide person-centred care.
• Experience in complex care settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and implement care for residents.
• Provide high-standard, evidence-based nursing care.
• Develop and review care plans with the team.
• Safely administer medications.
• Promote health, wellbeing and independence.
• Act as Nurse in Charge on shift when required.
• Navigate challenging behaviours with composure.
• Respect residents' choices and dignity.
