Job summary

Spliceor Ltd is seeking a Research Scientist to own experimental work on core RNA constructs. The role is hands-on and laboratory-based, focusing on designing and building vectors, running mammalian cell culture, and generating data to advance the program.

You will work closely with a small, collaborative team in a startup environment, contributing ideas and driving experiments from concept to data-driven conclusions.

Qualifications

• PhD in RNA biology, gene expression, molecular biology, or closely related field.
• 7>
• Experience with mammalian cell culture and gene expression studies.
• Strong design of gene expression vectors and advanced cloning knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and build gene expression constructs and RNA vectors.
• Run mammalian cell culture and transfection experiments.
• Analyze and interpret data and present to the team.
• Build assays from the ground up and troubleshoot them.
• Keep clear, reproducible records of work and findings.
• Contribute to grant reports, patent filings and publications.
