Job summary
My Life Legacy is seeking a Registered Nurse to join Thomas’s private home care team in Barnoldswick. You will work alongside a Personal Assistant to ensure Thomas enjoys life while his safety and wellbeing are prioritized.
A Nursing Degree with valid NMC registration is required, plus experience with epilepsy, autism, and home care in a family setting. This part-time, zero-hours role offers comprehensive training, a supportive team, and benefits including a Blue Light Card and DBS checks.
Qualifications
- Experience in epilepsy management and emergency procedures (bag and mask).
- Experience supporting individuals with autism in home care settings.
- Background in private home care and compassionate, family-centered approach.
- Ability to collaborate with families and care teams to tailor support.
Responsibilities
- Administer care for complex epilepsy and seizure management.
- Support Thomas with daily routines and personal care.
- Monitor health, safety and well-being; communicate with family and team.
- Encourage outdoor activities and nature experiences.
- Provide companionship and positive, empathetic support daily.
