Job summary

Cygnet Group is seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN/RNLD) for Cygnet Hospital Kewstoke. You will contribute to emergency admissions services and rehabilitation pathways for women with specialist care for personality disorder, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes high standards of patient care, robust documentation, CPD, and leadership duties as needed. Applicants must hold a current NMC PIN and be committed to patient recovery.

Qualifications

• Newly qualified or experienced RMN with a current PIN.
• Capable to maintain documentation and undertake audits.
• Well informed of the Mental Health Act 1983 and current nursing practices.
• Able to deputise in a clinical lead role.
• Focused on patient recovery, monitoring and risk reduction.
• Empower and support service user independence.

Responsibilities

• Produce outstanding written reports based on nursing assessments and observations.
• Work with management to develop the service, audit and improve quality.
• Attend training and CPD to further knowledge and nursing practice.
• Under NMC guidelines, ensure individual care plans are complete and maintained with residents, relatives and other professionals.
• Administer prescribed medicines in line with Healthcare procedures and guidelines.
