Job summary

Cygnet Group is seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN/RNLD) to join the team at Cygnet Hospital Kewstoke in Weston-super-Mare. You will provide high-quality care across emergency admissions for men and women and support pathways to rehabilitation, including a personality disorder service.

The role offers 38.5 hours per week at £24.11 per hour with opportunities for development, CPD, and clinical supervision within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a current NMC Pin number.
• Knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 and current nursing practices.
• Capable of maintaining documentation and conducting audits.
• Ability to deputise in a clinical lead role.

Responsibilities

• Produce outstanding written reports based on nursing assessments and observations.
• Work with management to develop the service, audit, and improve quality.
• Attend training and engage in CPD to promote nursing.
• Ensure care plans are complete and maintained with residents, relatives and other healthcare professionals.
• Administer prescribed medicines following guidelines.

We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN/RNLD) to join our team at Cygnet Kewstoke.

Cygnet Hospital Kewstoke provides emergency admissions services for men and women, and a pathway for women to rehabilitation including a specialist servicefor personality disorder.

Your Day-to-Day

Salary: £24.11 per hour

38.5 hours per week

• Produce outstanding written reports based on your nursing assessments and observations
• Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit, and improve quality
• Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge & promote nursing
• Under NMC guidelines, ensure that individual care plans are complete & maintained collectively with residents, relatives and other healthcare professionals.
• Administer prescribed medicines with Healthcare procedure and Healthcare Commission guidelines.

You are

• Open, compassionate, honest & resilient
• Newly Qualified or Experienced RMN with a current Pin Number
• Capable to maintain documentation and undertake audits
• Well informed of the Mental Health Act 1983 & have an understanding of latest nursing practices
• Able to deputise in a clinical lead role
• Focused on patient recovery to monitor, manage & reduce risk
