Job summary

Cygnet Kewstoke is seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN/RNLD) to join the team at the hospital. You will assess, plan and deliver patient care under NMC guidelines and collaboratively develop care plans with residents, relatives and other professionals.

The role is 38.5 hours per week, paying £24.11 per hour. You will participate in CPD, training, supervision and career progression opportunities, with enhanced DBS required.

Qualifications

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN/RNLD) with valid PIN.
• Newly Qualified or Experienced RMN with current Pin Number.
• Knowledge of Mental Health Act 1983 and latest nursing practices.
• Capable of maintaining documentation and undertaking audits.
• Willingness to deputise in a clinical lead role.

Responsibilities

• Produce outstanding written reports based on nursing assessments and observations.
• Work with management to develop the service, audit, and improve quality.
• Attend training, CPD, and revalidation activities.
• Administer prescribed medicines according to guidelines.
• Maintain individual care plans with residents, relatives and professionals.
• Monitor and manage risk to support patient recovery.

Cygnet Hospital Kewstoke provides emergency admissions services for men and women, and a pathway for women to rehabilitation including a specialist servicefor personality disorder. Your Day-to-DaySalary: £24.11 per hour 38.5 hours per week Produce outstanding written reports based on your nursing assessments and observations Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit, and improve quality Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge & promote nursing Under NMC guidelines, ensure that individual care plans are complete & maintained collectively with residents, relatives and other healthcare professionals.
