Job summary

Hazelbrook Care Home in Leicester is seeking a Mental Health Nurse to deliver high quality, person centred care within a specialist complex care setting, supporting residents with diverse mental health needs. You will assess, plan and review care, lead shifts and guide the care team, ensuring safe, consistent and therapeutic care while maintaining dignity and wellbeing.

• RMN with an active NMC PIN is required.
• Strong clinical judgement and decision making.
• Confident supporting individuals with complex mental health needs.
• Experience in mental health or complex care is beneficial.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach with good communication & teamwork.
• Committed to delivering high quality, person centred care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and review care for residents with a range of mental health conditions.
• Lead shifts and support the care team to ensure safe, consistent care.
• Contribute to behaviour support strategies, risk management and the therapeutic environment.
• Document and communicate clearly with families and external professionals.
