Job summary

The Methodist Church in Britain seeks an RMN to lead patient safety during secure transfers, bed watches and places of safety work for NHS, local authorities and private providers. You will coordinate a 24/7 rota and complete full handovers of risk history, presentation and care plans.

Required: NMC RMN registration with PIN, at least two years post-registration experience and a full UK driving licence. You will work with multidisciplinary teams and uphold confidentiality and data protection.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration as an RMN with PIN.
• At least two years post-registration experience.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead patient safety during transfers and bed watches.
• Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate evidence-based interventions.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation.
• Take ownership of handovers covering risk history, presentation and care plan.
• Coordinate shift, brief the team and allocate tasks.
• Work with ward teams, AMHPs and other multidisciplinary partners.
• Safeguard children and adults, applying policy and the Mental Health Act.
• Record incidents and ensure data protection and confidentiality.
