Job summary

Prometheus Safe and Secure Ltd is seeking an experienced Bank RMN to join our team in Birmingham. You will provide clinical leadership during patient transfers, enhanced observations and crisis interventions, maintaining patient safety and supporting colleagues in challenging clinical environments.

This flexible bank role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication and the ability to work across a 24/7 rota at our Fort Dunlop base.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC RMN registration with at least two years' post-registration experience.
• Full UK driving licence (manual and automatic).
• Right to work in the UK and Enhanced DBS clearance.
• Strong clinical assessment, risk management and crisis intervention skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee patient care during secure transfers and 136 pathways.
• Assess patient needs, identify risks and implement care plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation when necessary.
• Ensure comprehensive clinical handovers and accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and AMHPs.
