Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is hiring an on-site RME Technician to maintain a wide range of site equipment and workspaces, while upholding Health and Safety best practices. You will help keep colleagues safe, prevent downtime, and improve equipment availability across EU sites.

You will perform proactive maintenance and respond to breakdowns, liaising with contractors when external expertise is required, and supporting on-site apprentices in their development.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics or a 4-year UK certified apprenticeship.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, nights and holidays.
• Relevant experience as a qualified engineer in maintenance.
• Advanced proficiency in the local language, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance on site equipment.
• Reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold all health and safety policies and practices.
• Support development and progression of on-site apprentices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across EU sites.
