Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an RME Technician to maintain a wide range of site equipment across our fulfilment centres, upholding safety and quality standards.

You will perform proactive maintenance, diagnose faults in live environments, support on-site apprentices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while working rotating shifts.

This role requires strong engineering fundamentals and a commitment to keeping machinery running to meet delivery speeds.

Qualifications

• Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Served an engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering.
• Relevant experience as a qualified engineer.
• Experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance on site equipment.
• Reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold health and safety policies and practices.
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices.
• Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across EU sites.
