Job summary

Phyllis Court Club in Henley-on-Thames is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant on a casual contract. You will clean guest bedrooms, public areas and the Fitness Centre, with shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

£13.65 per hour, up to 20 hours per week, with training provided. A positive, detail‑driven attitude and good teamwork are essential; DBS and right to work in the UK required.

Qualifications

• A positive, friendly and professional attitude.
• Have an eye for detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Clear communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Experience in a similar role is desirable but full training will be given on the job.

Responsibilities

• Clean public areas, toilets and back-of-house areas to a high standard.
• Service and prepare guest bedrooms, including departure cleans.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the Fitness Centre.
• Restock amenities and ensure all areas are well presented at all times.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages or missing items.
• Work collaboratively with your team to complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
• Follow all health & safety procedures and safe working practices.
