A government agency in the UK seeks a dedicated Risk and Issues Manager to maintain risk management strategies and ensure compliance with departmental policies. You will provide guidance to Project and Programme Managers on risks and issues while developing review programmes with stakeholders. This full-time role also requires occasional travel within the UK. Ideal candidates should have experience in risk management and demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively in a complex environment.

The Chief Operating Officer Group works closely with the Home Office’s policy and operational commands to enable us together to deliver the department’s priorities. The group is comprised of different teams and professional functions, including Commercial, Finance, People, Portfolio and Project Delivery, Security, Estates and Information and Digital, Data and Technology.
As a Risk and Issues Manager, you will provide general advice and support on risk management, building capability, conducting challenge sessions on risk management and associated mitigations, and ensuring effective risk management activities.

Occasional travel within the UK may be required. Travel costs incurred for business need will be reimbursed in line with Home Office travel policy.
