Job Description:

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Risk Operations Analyst to work for our client within the finance sector. This is initially a 12-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role based in London.

Our client is seeking a Risk Operations Analyst who will have primary risk oversight of products and initiatives aligned within the team. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience and support the delivery of strategic projects across the function. This role is vital in ensuring the integrity of the client’s risk management processes, conducting investigations, and supporting compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Work in a challenging and fast-paced environment with a constantly evolving agenda.
• Interact regularly with risk managers across departments, divisions, line managers, and communicate with management at various levels within Operations and other areas.
• Support risk colleagues and senior management in designing and facilitating risk management programs and projects.
• Coordinate with Operations Risk and Control, Audit, and other teams to design and execute initiatives supporting governance efforts across ISG Product Operations.
• Enhance the risk environment by developing the risk and control agenda and key metrics.
• Assist in producing management information such as Risk Meetings and Governance forums.
• Support annual Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSAs) to identify risks, update controls, and present risk information to stakeholders.
• Produce risk packs and key risk indicators, including analysis, trending, exception management, and commentary.
