The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who are looking for a career within Risk Management and wish to join our diverse, passionate and thought-leading ZRS Property Team.

Candidates would ideally have some background in Property Insurance, either through underwriting, claims, or risk engineering.

The role is home-based, with travel to customer sites across the region. It is an essential car user (ECU) position, including a company car allowance.

We will run a 3-month training academy providing foundational training to start your career in Risk Engineering.

This role offers diversity and rewards, with comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you succeed and support our customers with technical guidance and insights.

Zurich Resilience Solutions supports customers and stakeholders with risk management solutions, including survey programs, account management, and technical advice.

What will you be doing?

• Undertaking desktop and on-site assessments following global guidelines.
• Producing risk assessment and improvement reports to a professional standard.
• Managing risk improvement actions proactively.
• Collaborating across Risk Engineering, Claims, Underwriting, and other teams.
• Prioritizing workload to meet customer needs and global requirements.

What are we looking for?

• Experience assessing property risks (fire, flood, security) from underwriting or claims perspectives.
• Knowledge of risk management and loss prevention for Property and Business Interruption risks.
• Professional qualifications like Cert/Dip CII, TIFireE, or Risk Management certifications.
• Strong presentation, engagement, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and promote teamwork.
• Commitment to self and team development with clear goals.
• Effective communication skills.
• Proficiency with Zurich Resilience Solutions offerings and stakeholder engagement.
